About the role:

The Department 'Centre of Competence Strategy & Operations' (CoC S&O) of Corporate Real Estate and Services (CRES) is looking for a Business Application Manager to support CRES tools & applications with a flair for customer service. This temporary position will be open for two years.


As a member of the unit Global Service Operations you will:

  • Provide support (L2) for a set of business applications and ensure business as usual
  • Adapt to and take over new tools & applications that move from Project to run mode
  • Decommissioning tools and processes which are no longer relevant
  • Engage partners/customers to assemble feedback and experiences how to make tools & applications more intuitive, faster and customer friendly
  • Analyze & pursue potential automation opportunities that can reduce operational overheads
  • Facilitate trainings, feedback sessions and engage actively with all partners involved
  • Collect Change Requests, maintain change logs and assist with testing


About the team:

CRES is globally responsible for Swiss Re's corporate real estate including the management of efficient / functional office environment and the provision of high quality logistics solutions to address daily business needs of our clients. The team 'Global Service Operations' handles global services and applications within CRES and assures that customer experience principles are applied across all CRES services and solutions.


About You:

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience

  • Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach;
  • Strong social and interpersonal skills, ability to influence both technical and business partners;
  • The ability to handle multiple projects and assignments;
  • Very good command of English, at least understanding German is an asset;
  • Working knowledge of Service Now is an added asset
