About the Team

The CUO Standard team has been established to bring simplicity and efficiency to our clients, intermediaries and colleagues. We believe that by creating standard products, we can meet many clients' and intermediaries' needs better, while also enabling true portfolio underwriting.

  • Customers will experience products that are consistent, easier to understand, and reliable.
  • Intermediaries will experience a more reliable, predictable underwriting process that is easier to work with.
  • Colleagues will experience a continuously improving, portfolio underwriting environment supported by greater analytics.

 

About you:

We’re looking for a tech-savvy, client-facing operations enthusiast to be part of a dynamic, empowered, and high energy team. You will use your insurance experience to recognize and source missing information, partner and assist Underwriters with submissions, identify and propose process and automation opportunities, develop cross-functional skillsets, all while providing outstanding and delightful customer care to our clients. Are you passionate and energized by using innovative-tech solutions to make insurance cool? If so, we have a spot reserved for you!

This role is perfect if you:

  • Have 2+ years experience in customer service with a preference in an insurance support role
  • Have knowledge and understanding of Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance principles and practices a plus
  • Are focused and accountable with having some level of empowerment on underwriting authority
  • Have positive attitude with a passion for providing service excellence and experience!
  • Are a strong communicator that can build and maintain allies internally and externally
  • Are passionate about adopting, using, and promoting tech driven solutions
  • Can do a lot at once well without dropping the ball
  • Take pride in the results of your work!

 

About the Role

Here are some if the things you will do:

  • Own and resolve client-facing issues while delivering insanely great service
  • Partner up to assist with underwriting submissions, policy endorsements, and renewals
  • Guide external partners to ensure full data requirements received on all submissions
  • Quickly become skilled at systems, processes and provide suggestions for improvement
  • Quality control compliance and clearing related activities
  • Be a rockstar teammate!
