About the Role


Part of global Digital Contracts Transformation (CDT), leading towards respective future quality assurance.


This newly created role will support the transformation as a representative for Region Americas by driving the adherence to the final contract guidelines, as well as the improvements of processes, systems and data quality, primarily for Facultative P&C.


The unit 'Operating Model Effectiveness' is a growing unit, located within BURE Centre. It leads initiatives across the Reinsurance Business Unit in the field of operational effectiveness. We stimulate Operational Excellence and are responsible for driving process improvements across our Business Unit.

We are a small team with team members from all Regions, based in Bangalore, Bratislava, Zurich, and Hong Kong. We are committed to driving quality the final contracts to newly emerging needs from a strategic, technological, data and governance perspective.

About the role


In this role you:


Take a lead role in driving final wording storage and respective processes for Region Americas. This includes deep-dive analytics, process improvement, people change management, system alignment, reporting and KPI's:


  • Monitor and drive the adherence to the Fac and treaty final contractual document guidelines through quality assurance activities
  • Deliverables include quality reporting, sampling and reviews for Region Americas
  • Contribute to Change Management in Americas, jointly with local leaders
  • Driving improvements across Americas through guidance and trainings to the respective teams
  • Suggest opportunities for improvements to the global team and support development of detailed suggestions. This includes systems, processes and responsibilities.
  • Embed controls around document management.
  • Testing of new tools in a project environment with detailed feedback requirements
  • Ownership for global topics based on capacity and experience



You report to the Operating Model Effectiveness team within the Reinsurance Centre Strategy & Operations area.


About you


Knowhow and experience:


  • In-depth understanding of system landscape, business processes and reporting relating to final contract storage in P&C (focus: Fac)
  • Recognized expert regarding facultative contracts within Region Americas
  • Ability to dive deep into processes and data, and speak with respective stakeholders in a recognized manner to discover opportunities for improvement
  • Good understanding of Swiss Re's value chain end-to-end, including value generation and products


Soft skills:


  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to adjust to different audience groups; specifically very advanced presentation and listening skills
  • Ability to evaluate contractual needs and storage requirements and come to accepted proposals regarding storing need
  • Enjoy collaborating virtually and contributing towards shared goals
