About the role

We are looking for a motivated Multimedia Operations Engineer to support our global Multimedia team. You will provide support to Swiss Re users, according to the defined processes, policies and agreements, minimizing adverse impact of incidents and service failures on video conference operations. You will actively participate in the global Multimedia Operations team in meetings, workshops and taskforces as needed. Furthermore you manage escalations through to resolution across a number of teams including 3rd party suppliers and you will help to maintain our AV infrastructure and monitor and track open incidents and requests, ensuring compliance within agreed SLA’s.


About the team

The Multimedia Services team at Swiss Re is responsible for all audio-visual equipment installed in more than 800 meeting rooms worldwide. We not only operate and maintain our infrastructure, we also build and design our meeting rooms. One key element of our daily work is the operation of global video conferences. Connecting New York, to Zurich and Bratislava? No problem. We run conferences with connections to up to 30 locations around the globe.
 

About you

Experience
- Professional experience in an equivalent position, with demonstrated experience on support and cross functional teamwork
- Customer focused, to ensure the delivery of exceptional service and superior value
- Experience in gathering and analyzing relevant information to make sound decisions and solve problems in a timely manner
- Track record in establishing and building credibility quickly and maintaining relationships with internal and external clients and peers
- Hands-on and “can do” mentality

Knowledge
- State-of-the-art videoconference and telepresence infrastructure
- AV equipment
- Meeting/event/townhall support
- Microsoft enterprise collaboration and management tools e.g. SharePoint, Skype, Teams, - Outlook/Exchange

Interpersonal skills
- Autonomous and resilient
- Comfortable in senior management environment
- Strong communication / influencing skills

Working style
- Open and curious, quick minded, creative
- Pragmatic, results driven, well-organized
- Strong team player with a high degree of personal accountability

Languages
- Proficient in English (written and spoken)
- Any additional language is a plus
