We are looking for someone to contribute to our team's value proposition, with a variety of tasks:

  • Lead Due Diligences on selected partners and/or carriers to strengthen operational readiness, performance monitoring, and claims resolution
  • Lead operational reviews/audits to share standard methodologies across the insurance value chain and ensure premium and claim data is ceded in accordance with the terms and conditions of the treaty
  • Engage and collaborate with clients to find opportunities to optimize data, processes, and reinsurance reporting
  • Understand client needs to generate origination opportunities including tailored solutions offerings
  • Succeed in building relationships with strategic clients to increase impact and improve the client experience
  • Work with deal teams to monitor and steer the performance of selected reinsurance deals ensuring operational and underwriting oversight. Enable timely corrective measures through regular trend analysis on a micro and macro level.

 

About the Team

 

The Client Review team is a global team within P&C Business Management. We are responsible for conducting transactional and operational reviews, monitoring profitability of critical reinsurance deals, and delivering advisory Solutions to our clients. This role provides the opportunity to combine data analysis, audit knowhow, and consulting practices to generate and share compelling business insights that support Swiss Re's strategy.

 

About You

 

  • University degree with a strong business and financial acumen.
  • Significant relevant experience in (re)insurance with visible market knowledge and reputation.
  • Reinsurance accounting experience and/or transactional audit experience
  • Advanced data analytics skills using tools such as Power BI, with the ability to share insights and tell a story
  • Ability to build and maintain a trusted client relationship at senior and executive management levels, even while delivering difficult messages
  • Excellent influencing and presentation skills
  • End-to-end understanding of the reinsurance value chain, including cashflow and data management/analytics.
  • Readiness to work independently and to take decisions (results-oriented, pragmatic, able to push efficient and creative solutions, and overcome ambiguity)
  • Natural curiosity and ability to step out of comfort zone
  • Willingness to travel as needed
