About the Role


The future is closer than you think. Cars are getting increasingly connected and automated. In fact, by 2050, many predict that nearly every car will be driverless. Furthermore, car sharing, and carpooling apps are slowly changing the mobility ecosystem. Given the important part motor/auto insurance plays in our portfolio, Swiss Re has looked into these trends and subsequently built a new and highly innovative automotive department to provide adequate solutions to insurers and mobility players.

In order to help us position Swiss Re as a leader in automotive insurance, we are seeking the best Automotive & Mobility Solutions Manager for Americas based in the US.



As Automotive & Mobility Solutions Manager your responsibilities are


  • To sell our Automotive and Mobility solutions and work with regional Client Management & Underwriting to originate deals with insurers and other industry players (e.g. leasing, fleet management companies, brokers, aggregators etc.) and manage the transaction process;
  • Develop and adapt the solutions to fit local market needs and lead the roll-out of our Automotive and Mobility solutions in North America and LatAm;
  • Build and maintain a strong network in the telematics / connected vehicle / automotive and insurance markets;
  • Lead the roll-out of our Automotive and Mobility solutions in North America and Lat Am;
  • Identify and understand client need and linking to internal environment and product owners

About the Team


Swiss Re P&C Solutions uses Swiss Re's risk expertise, strong capital base and new technology to help clients grow and improve profitability by developing innovative solutions and sharing the risk. The Automotive & Mobility Solutions team develops innovative solutions to mobility players – be it insurer, OEM, mobility provider or fleet. In this role you will be part of the dedicated sales and delivery team working closely with clients to find solutions to their mobility related insurance needs. You will benefit from being a core part of the Americas Solutions team as well as integrated into the larger global Automotive and Mobility Solutions team.


About You

  • Client focused & Solution oriented: You have a strong motor insurance / B2B sales experience and automotive market know-how, passion for clients combined with a can-do attitude

  • Sales oriented & Fluent: You have a passion for sales and marketing, a track record in successfully positioning telematics/risk insight services/automotive products in the market and an excellent oral and written command of English and fluent in Spanish.



  • Minimum 8-10 years relevant experience in the fields of automotive or motor insurance sales and marketing, telematics, primary motor insurance products and a strong interest in tech-based motor solutions
  • Deep experience in US motor markets is a must.
  • Knowledge of additional languages is a plus
  • Based in US with flexibility to travel in the Americas region
