Sales Oversight Analyst

As the Sales Oversight Analyst, you will:



  1. Be responsible for conducting ongoing oversight of iptiQ distribution partners and supporting the Sales Oversight Manager in achieving departmental goals and objectives
  2. Perform robust sales audits of our distribution partners, manage an audit trail, analyze results, and present findings to various stakeholders
  3. Assess the impact of our distribution partner sales activities on the business and recommend risk mitigation strategies that meet iptiQ business needs and compliance with regulatory requirements
  4. Assist towards continuously optimizing the effectiveness of oversight programs and improving the department's ability to support growth opportunities
  5. Routinely liaise with distribution partners, Account Managers and other internal colleagues to deliver feedback and reinforce compliance with regulations and internal policies
  6. Partner and collaborate with colleagues in Marketing, Operations, Claims, Risk, Legal and Compliance on various oversight activities and cross-functional projects


This position is available for either Armonk, NY or Boston, MA office.  The company will offer relocation assistance for the right candidate!



About the Team:


We are a relatively new business unit within Swiss Re, called iptiQ Americas, established to deliver innovative Life & Health insurance solutions sold to consumers. Our team delivers products, infrastructure and competences key to driving forward this new business, while working closely with our mother company. Our mission is to reduce the protection gap by simplifying life insurance and making it more accessible to people. iptiQ Americas, a new Life & Health insurance company, provides white-label life insurance propositions for a diverse range of distributors across a variety of distribution channels, and has ambitious growth plans over the next 5 years. As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will have a unique opportunity to support the management and oversight of our distribution partners. You will be part of the Marketing & Sales team committed to drive sustainable and long-term success for our business.



About you:  


  • College degree required
  • 5+ years related work experience in US L&H in one or more of the following; Claims, Compliance, or Sales Quality Assurance management required
  • Specific knowledge of US L&H insurance regulatory framework (especially in relation to distribution matters) required
  • Experience with evaluating sales and compliance performance through call monitoring required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of individual life and health sales practices preferred
  • Prior experience training and/or supervising sales a plus
  • Experience working with life and health insurance producers/agents strongly preferred
  • Experience with sales call center environments preferred
  • Specific knowledge of Medicare and senior market sales a plus
  • Outstanding ability to use qualitative and quantitative analysis to identify trends, reach sound conclusions and deliver effective recommendations
  • Experience writing policies, processes and procedures
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and be agile in delivering strong results with tight deadlines
  • Know when to escalate a problem and keep management informed; share information and communicate openly with ease
  • Team player and build an atmosphere of co-operation within iptiQ and the wider Swiss Re, as well as with external partners
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must have strong listening, comprehension and analytical skills
  • Must be proficient in creating and delivering highly effective presentations to internal and external customers
  • Dedication to providing exceptional customer service
