About the Role

As a Senior Cloud Operations Engineer for iptiQ Americas, you will be working on several of the key technology initiatives leveraging cutting edge data, cloud and integration technologies. You will be working with some of the brightest and smartest people who are set to change the insurance industry.

Working within cloud operations, you will build and support cloud-based solutions and setup DEV Ops practices working with a new technology stack. You will partner with vendors and architects on solution frameworks and perform system administration of multiple systems across environments maintaining desired security levels for services in the cloud. You will have an understanding of technologies and experience in supporting complex infrastructure and integration platform initiatives. In this role, you will work towards resolving critical technical issues in a 24x7 global support model leveraging your existing technical knowledge. This role provides opportunity to learn new technologies and advance current skills.

About You

 

Technical Qualifications

  • 5+ year's experience on Infrastructure support primarily on the Linux environment
  • Hands-on experience on any one of the log analytics tools like Splunk, Azure log Analytics, ELK etc ..
  • Detect and diagnose code-related issues
  • Collect and document information about product performance, product application problems, and failures
  • Resolve customer issues within committed SLAs and timelines
  • Act as a technical escalation point within the team for support issues, product feedback, and critical situations in the owned technology areas
  • Engage with Cloud engineering teams to understand their service architecture, operating models, and navigate in the environment effectively
  • Performing complex application debugging and remediation, when needed, to drive Support incident resolution for configuration, code, or other service issues impacting customers

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of Technical Support experience (preferably in a cloud environment)
  • Focus on customers and passion for providing quality of services
  • Ability and willingness to learn new technology in a fast-paced environment
  • Work with Cross functional teams
  • Develop and run technical readiness partnering with support and engineering
  • Help establish a real-time readiness model for the team by constantly updating training and readiness content as the cloud technology evolves

 

Additional Qualifications (nice to have):

  • SQL Server, Azure SQL DB
  • Hands-on experience on any log analytics tools like Splunk, Azure log Analytics, ELK etc ..
  • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Kubernetes Service
  • App Services or any Java application servers
  • CosmosDB or MongoDB
