About the role

As UX/UI designer in the US incubator squad you'll combine design thinking techniques, your extensive experience in User Experience design, networking skills and business domain know how to design super-intuitive and visually appealing applications.

Your responsibilities include:

You work closely with the Product Manager to understand the problems, use design thinking techniques to draw user journeys and empathize with our customers on their journey.

You are responsible for conceiving and conducting user research, interviews and surveys, and translating them into sitemaps, wireframes and prototypes.

Together with the squad you find innovative solutions to solve the customer's problems. You work closely with the developers to evaluate the technical feasibility.

You embrace our client-centric culture and seek our customers' valuable feedback and input.

In short, you will be responsible to amaze customers by the simplicity and intuitiveness of our solutions.

About the team

The Standard Business team has been established to bring simplicity and efficiency to our clients, intermediaries and colleagues through innovative use of data and technology. Customers will experience products and a customer journey that is consistent, easier to understand and reliable.

To achieve this ambitious goal we are building up an incubator - a small start-up squad within the company.

About you

  • You have a BA/BS degree in Design (interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial, etc.), Human-Computer Interaction or Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • You're quick to gain trust of people, make them feel comfortable in sharing their candid feedback.
  • You use Design Thinking methods intuitively
  • Expertise in standard UX/UI software such as Sketch, InVision, Mindnode, Principle, Framer and Invision Studio is a must.
  • Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus.
  • A Track-record of intuitive app design
  • Excellent communication, people management skills and efficiency when working with senior management and key external clients is important
  • You have strong analytical skills, and take on problems in a structured way, joining your own creative ideas and those of others. You can do this on an abstract level and engage in details to make sure ideas are realistic and pragmatic
  • An understanding of P&C primary insurance is a plus
  • Proficient in English
