Position objectives and position summary (short and detailed definition of most important activities)

The BS Enabling team acts as an enabler within the Business Services unit with focus on driving end-to-end Origination process excellence. This role requires eye for detail in streamlining processes, working on process simplification ideas, and improving high data quality in the core processes in alignment to our internal/global guidelines.

We are looking for a hardworking high energy and self-motivated individual who can support the overall quality transformation by bringing more automation, actively identify & contribute to process improvement opportunities, contribute to global and regional projects, and ensure high level of data quality by developing measures for monitoring performance of the origination process.

Main tasks/activities (In brief statements describe the main accountabilities of the job)

  • Handle end to end reporting activities. Should be able to run standard & nonstandard reports and perform basic data analysis. Analyze reports to identify root causes and sharing lessons learned
  • Preparing and developing analytical and automated dashboards to ensure appropriate quality control
  • Monitoring and measuring control performance by applying data analytics tools
  • Ensure alignment to guidelines, internal controls, and important metrics
  • Collaborate with business partners to support various process improvement topics across the value chain
  • Resolve technical queries raised by partners independently
  • Work on regional and global projects with minimal mentorship
  • Support the team in identifying non-value add steps in the existing process and recommend improvement ideas

Job requirements (education, linguistic ability, professional experience, leadership qualities, soft skills)


  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Accounting, Insurance, or equivalent field

Professional experience

  • 4+ years of work experience in insurance/reinsurance or any other financial services industry
  • Strong MS Office skills (Advance Excel) in being able to analyze and manipulate large amounts of data
  • Proficient in Power BI or similar data visualization tools and good awareness of data visualization good practice
  • Numeracy & analytical capabilities to consider data, identify abnormalities and use information to develop action plan
  • Ability to challenge status quo and explore new insights that drives process simplification and improvement

Added advantage

  • Knowledge of any analytics tool (R Studio, SAS, Python, SQL/VB etc.)
  • Experience using common Data and Text mining algorithms.
