About the role:

Claims Triager is responsible for indexing and distributing the incoming claims documents from our clients – cedents or brokers, to responsible team or person within 24 hours.

It is the responsibility of triage team to index the incoming documents to support other claims colleagues in the value chain of the company in prioritization, with the main common goal of supporting our clients by timely payments of claims and keeping the loss reserves on accurate level.

All the incoming claims documents, from first notification of the claim until the last (closing) advice go through the Claims Triage process. All this is only possible through a good understanding of our clients and being responsive to their needs.

The position-holder is required to work within a set framework of processes and guidelines and continuously improve the situation to meet the agreed set of KPI deliverables.

The person has to constantly seek opportunities to improve the core processes to increase efficiency and support with automation, in turn creating value for Swiss Re and our clients.

The role also includes close cooperation with our Claims Operations colleagues and is well-positioned to provide several opportunities to enhance one's knowledge of Swiss Re's value chain. 

About the team:

Triage team is part of the larger Reinsurance Claims Team based in Bangalore and closely cooperating with Triage team in Bratislava and Claims colleagues worldwide.

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field.
  • Freshers / experienced from Commerce background are welcome.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English language), ability to work in virtual teams and across borders and cultures.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, take ownership and work independently. Positive and learning attitude is key.
  • Highly motivated to deliver high quality service to the corresponding clients.
  • Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
