Job Specification:

  1. Support the development of overall India L&H Reinsurance strategy, build the business plan and monitor business KPIs;

 

  1. Develop and maintain business relationships with the reinsurance decision makers and key influencers at client offices for specific risk pools;

 

  1. Be responsible for the end-to-end business process for defined risk pools in L&H

 

  1. Acquire a Costing Authority as per Swiss Re's CMCA (Client Manager with Costing Authority) initiative. Leverage technical expertise to carry out and support costing, review, and approve quotes within authority;

 

  1. Lead Swiss Re's cross functional teams to deliver on differentiating solutions to meet strategic growth aspirations and business objectives;

 

  1. Deliver important L&H metrics assigned to the India market;

 

  1. Drive the management and monitoring of the business portfolio to ensure the business is on track for sustainability and profitability and meets our standards on business mix, contact certainty, data quality and so on.

 

Requirements:

  • Nearly qualified/qualified Actuary
  • Minimum 12+ years of life reinsurance and/or direct insurance experience in India. Candidates with experience in pricing and experience studies will be preferred.
  • You can think out of the box, roll your sleeves up and take charge of a situation.
  • You have excellent communication and negotiations skills, with ability to handle conflicts and steer multiple parties' interests into an aligned one.
  • You are motivated and result-driven while being guided by a strong sense of integrity in all that you do.
