About the Role
As a Cloud Operations team for iptiQ Americas, you will be working on several of the key technology initiatives leveraging cutting edge data, cloud, operations  and integration technologies. You will be working with some of the brightest and smartest people who are set to change the insurance industry. Working within the Cloud Operations organization, you will support cloud-based solutions and follow DEV Ops practices working with a revolutionary technology stack. You will perform issue investigation on multiple systems across environments and work with Engineering and Architecture on opening bugs and requests with all required diagnostic information.  Also, you will be required to participate in on-call rotation.
•    Engage with Cloud engineering teams to understand their service architecture, operating models, and be able to navigate and work effectively 
•    Working exercise in one or more cloud platform such as Azure, AWS and GCP
•    Identify emerging trends or recurring scenarios for the owned technologies and drive improvement feedback/repair items into Azure engineering 
•    Based on customer feedback and insights gained while supporting our customers, partner with engineering teams to improve the Azure platform
•    Working experience in one or more languages (PowerShell, Python, C#, Open Source)
•    Resolve critical and complex technical issues in a 24x5 global support model leveraging your deep technical and product expertise and partnering with peers
•    Performing complex application debugging and remediation when needed to drive Support incident resolution for configuration, code, or other service issues impacting customers
•    Hands-on experience on one or more of the following domains with Understanding of cloud computing technologies across Windows and Linux is a plus 
o    SQL Server, Azure SQL DB
o    Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Kubernetes Service
o    App Services or any Java application
o    CosmosDB or MongoDB

About You
•    4+ years’ experience as an Infrastructure engineer and strong understanding of cloud platforms like Azure
•    Must have working experience in developing automation for Terraform or infrastructure provisioning tools
•    Working Monitoring/Alerting tools and platforms such as Azure OMS, elasticsearch, Datadog, Splunk, Pingdom, etc.
•    Solid understanding of networking and core Internet Protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP and routing in distributed networks.
•    Working experience or Very good understanding on Cloud Security: encryption methodologies, certificate management, etc.
•    Ability to document solutions and train operational teams on supportability
•    Monitoring, measuring and reporting of service performance.
•    Work with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors as needed.
