About the Role: Position summary & Main tasks/activities (short and precise definition of the

role and most important activities listed)

· Perform TA operational activities involving end-to-end processing of Client Reinsurance

accounts (premiums, claims, brokerage, etc.) with focus on data quality and driving value

through active application of client segmentation

· Ensure deliverables and quality standards are met

· Demonstrate understanding of reinsurance contracts and concepts by analysing accuracy of

Client reports, with the ability to understand complex reinsurance agreements, regional

regulatory requisites and Service Level Agreements

· Ensure financial transactions/payments are in adherence to processes and guidelines, quality

management framework and key controls

· Timely collection of funds (Accounts Receivable), keeping track of financials within the

assigned portfolio

· Oversee, monitor and prepare monthly/quarterly performance measurement statistics and

operational review of the portfolio

· Escalate issues to concerned departments/ management/ senior management as appropriate

· Ensure timely and accurate reporting and compliance with internal/external/regulatory

requirements and/or commitments

· Manage own workload effectively to achieve agreed service/business standards

· Contact internal stakeholders and external clients directly (either written or verbal) to resolve

any long pending operational issues like missing accounting information, incorrect data,

payment delays, etc.

· Work with a group of people to achieve a shared goal or outcome in an effective way

About you: (education, linguistic ability, professional experience, leadership qualities, soft skills)

· Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Accounting, Insurance or equivalent field

· 2+ years of work experience in the banking /insurance or any other financial services industry

· Strong written & verbal communication skills (English and Mandarin)

· Strong computer proficiency (MS Office - Excel, Word, Power Point)

· Good interpersonal skills

· Good analytical / problem solving skills

· Proactive exercise of critical thinking

· Demonstrate agility and navigate ambiguity to deliver on core expectations

· Ability to work collaboratively in a virtual/remote international/global/multicultural team


· Capability to adapt to changes and implement them accordingly


· Fluent and proficient in Mandarin and English is mandatory for this Job application (both verbal and

written communication).

Added advantage

· Prior reinsurance or insurance accounting experience

· Excellence in new workflow technologies (ACORD, B3i, Robotics, etc.)
