JOB PURPOSE
This position is part of Corporate Solutions APAC Operations team and will be responsible to drive process excellence by partnering with the business to identify improvement areas and deliver multi-functional global/regional projects from conceptualization through to implementation while ensuring process consistency, standardization and alignment. The role will have a focus on the area of Technical Accounting and Credit Control. You will be part of the APAC Strategic Operations team and will also be a member of a global squad in Strategic Operations.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES
Lead or support initiatives to improve processes and operational models, which entails o defining requirements together with business teams, o analyzing data, o designing new processes that aligns with existing processes and systems, o determine automation feasibility and requirements o defining measurements and critical metrics, o implementation planning and execution, o comprehensive end-to-end change management
Work in close collaboration with other Process Excellence Leads (global and regional) and Product Owners in a global and Agile environment.
Communicate and implement globally agreed process and system changes into the APAC region
Ensure regional processes are standardized and aligned by reviewing processes through analysis of data/reports and engagement with various teams
Monitor process adherence, identify deviations or areas of concerns in processes and work with global and local teams to address them.
Be aware of connections and dependencies between different processes in the value chain and across differing systems so as to analyze & understand impact of changes.
Proactively identify and propose improvements to our operational model and processes to increase efficiency and to ensure it supports the client offerings throughout the region and lines of businesses
Engage and connect with business or functional partners at varying levels to ensure that processes are known, understood and adhered to, these include the Operations Managers, Underwriting Associates/Analysts, Underwriters, Regional Service Operations and also our BPO partner.
Drive and support change management, including communicating, testing, training and reinforcement of new processes and related systems changes.
KEY SKILLS
We would need you to have experience and track record in Process Excellence/Process Improvement and/or enterprise transformation. You should be proactive and be willing to take ownership and accountability for the delivery of change initiatives.
Developing a topic from identifying problem statement, building consensus, triggering decision paths and driving the resolution, i.e. takes strong ownership endto-end.
Ability to collaborate across diverse teams in different locations & functions.
Ability to facilitate different levels of conversations between groups as a strong communicator.
Comfortable working with IT teams to translate processes to technical requirements and system features.
Ability to quickly assimilate new knowledge.
Resourceful in seeking out who and where to find information and inputs
Comfortable in dealing with different counterparts and cultures.
Essential:
Commercial Insurance background preferred, knowledge of technical accounting/credit control will be even better
Proven experience 5+ years in Process Excellence/Process Improvement/Continuous Improvement
Experience in project management and organizational change - close involvement in planning, structuring, leading and completing cross-functional, regional projects
Experience working in an Agile project setting
Strong proficiency in Powerpoint and Excel
Desirable:
Project & Change Management experience/certifications
Agile, Scrum, Lean or Six Sigma experience/certification
Familiarity with digital topics, e.g. Machine Learning, AI
Management consulting experience
Experience in using enterprise tools to document process flows
