Operations & Strategy Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated, agile and dedicated individual to support the Unit Head of LHBM BLR and wider BLR MT to drive operational and strategically relevant topics.

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should have project management experience, an analytical mindset and outstanding communication / presentation skills.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  •  
  • Support and/or own delivery of actions and projects related to operational strategy
  • Supporting Divisional Operating Office through monitoring and regular reporting of hiring and budget topics
  • Management of ad-hoc projects and project management support on larger deliverables
  • Support Management team in preparing content and PowerPoint presentations for meetings as well as a range of ad-hoc tasks
  • Community management to increase engagement levels and drive collaboration with other departments / divisions
  • Organising / facilitating leadership visits and large meetings

 

About You

  • 4+ years professional experience required, insurance considered a plus
  • Have demonstrable dedication to delivery, underpinned with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have strong organisational and planning skills
  •  Ability to adapt quickly and navigate ambiguity
  • Able to lead / facilitate large meetings
  • Can work independently and take ownership for outcomes within a highly collaborative team

 

As well you have

  • Degree in business or related field is a plus (but not a must)
  • MS Office skills (in particular PowerPoint and Excel)
  • A good understanding of Swiss Re's processes, systems & platforms
