About the role

This position supports the Global Third-party Governance Team of Swiss Re with the implementation and management of various strategic projects on External and Intra Group Outsourcing topics. They will also be the point of contact responsible for the Adherence of the company policy on all External and Intra group outsourcing topics to the Global Stakeholders across the organization. The successful candidate will work closely with a network of individuals that spans across all divisions and functions of the company. Activities and responsibilities are diverse, offering the successful candidate a significant opportunity for career growth and development. This is an exciting time as we build from the proven Outsourcing Framework to design and implement the Third Party Governance Framework for the Group.

  • Assists in the intra-group Outsourcing & External Outsourcing processes and activities by which work processes are moved from different Swiss Re locations Into the Bangalore Center of Excellence Center, including the assurance that required legal, compliance, and operational matters have been addressed.
  • Key Global stakeholder management on outsourcing topics playing a more strategic consultative role.
  • Responsible for due diligence and triage on all External Outsourcing deals brining in all the Subject matter experts such as Legal & Compliance, Cyber related topics, IT , Business Continuity management etc..
  • Assists in the maintenance of the centralized reporting database in support of Group and Divisional reporting requirements as specified by the Third Part Governance team
  • Responsible for assigned operational projects related to outsourcing topics
  • Support Operation / Branch managers on regulatory queries/ Audits -Internal & External on Outsourcing related topics as required.
  • Other duties and projects as prescribed by the Outsourcing Manager or the Head of Third party Governance on Outsourcing as required.
  • Contribute to the Continuous Improvement Culture.
  • Supporting Transition Reporting & Location Dashboard updates
  • Supporting all Legal entity reporting requirements where needed.

About You


  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in business.

Experience :

  • Minimum of five years business experience.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English. European & Asian language skills a plus.
  • Experience with legal and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with program and project management methodologies with a history of success in multi-location projects /change management initiatives, where cultural diversity and influencing skills were required.
  • M&A due diligence, integration, and process experience, and Six Sigma certifications a plus.
  • Experienced and comfortable working in a virtual and global environment, with a track record of delivering results in in this setting and context.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously delivering high quality results in terms of process, content and timeliness.
