Pricing & ES Specialist

Objective of Role

 

To support Life & Health Pricing Office APAX in regional projects and initiatives; as well as providing support for other teams around the Asia region.

 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Point of contact for governance queries from the market teams, other governance tasks such as updating Asia Costing and Pricing standards
  • Support in maintenance and development for regional tools – CPT, SGPC tool
  • Provide support to market and structured solutions teams for pricing transactions
  • Provide support for projects within team for Inforce business management
  • Support the Pricing Office Asia or Market teams on any projects as required;
  • Conduct research/investigation on insurance-related topics or costing basis;

  • Good understanding of actuarial best practices
  • Organization, prioritization and planning skills
  • Ability and initiative to challenge and suggest improvement(s) to existing processes
  • Good communication skills

 

Candidate Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science or related majors
  • Good actuarial exam progress of a recognized actuarial professional body
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, R/Python or any other related coding language
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
  • Relevant experience in actuarial functions (ex: pricing, valuation) and actuarial tools for 6 – 8 years
  • Direct company experience is preferred
