ABOUT THE TEAM

L&H Finance is undertaking the next step in the evolution of how we deliver services to our stakeholders. This includes moving towards more globally consistent processes and increasing the centralisation of teams – notably strengthening the L&H Finance hub in Bangalore. This team will take on end to end responsibility of technical closing and also enhance our analytics and reporting deliverables.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This role will support the reporting for the consolidated regional results focussing on Asia under IFRS 17/IFRS 9 valuation. Using strong analytical skills, the role holder will support the explanation of business performance drivers of the L&H business including variance analysis; working closely with the L&H V&A team to understand and constructively challenge the key movements. The role will also include the presentation of the results to CFO and/or various other stakeholders including Market heads and other Finance teams.

Professional experience	Relevant experience in similar role or industry. Good understanding on L&H value chain

Commercial Awareness/ Business partnering	Demonstrates commercial awareness in daily service provision and projects. Challenges non-standard processes and strives for efficient solutions that effectively meet client needs. Understands the business context and adapts deliverables to changing business requirements.

KEY SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Degree	University Masters - Economics/Finance/Accounting
Professional Qualification	CA/CFA/FRM or MBA in Finance
Relevant Professional Experience	5+ years work experience in Financial Controlling, Financial reporting and Analysis or FP&A. (Prior experience in Insurance Industry will be added advantage)
