The Power BI Engineer role will combine design skills, engineering expertise and business domain know how.

 

Your Responsibilities Include

  • You will collaborate with the business to implement new analytical and dashboarding capabilities in the IT systems. A key requirement is to be able to collect business requirements and engineer them into solutions by developing innovative Power BI reports.
  • As part of an Agile team you will handle the release and deployment process, coordinating tasks for team members and ensuring a smooth rollout of production applications and systems.

 

About The Team
This is a role in Risk Management IT, which is a partner function for the Group Risk Management business area.

 

The systems and expertise provided by our team enables business to have oversight and control of the firm's risks and allows it to support the risk management activities of various other business functions.

 

Our team is at the mainly involved in procuring data, building feeds, and integrating into Data Warehouses and Datamarts. We are passionate about technology and eager to learn on the go. We closely collaborate with other teams and colleagues around the globe to share knowledge and engineer simple yet effective solutions. Upskilling and continuous learning is important to us where we maintain a flexible and collaborative working environment.

 

About You
Understanding of data warehousing and data science or business intelligence techniques and reporting applications.

 

Experience
Specific expertise in the following:

  • Azure PowerBI - At least 2 years hands-on experience building sophisticated Power BI dashboards.
  • SQL Server - Very good understanding of database design and structures.
  • Knowledge of Azure Analysis Services/Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services and understanding of Tabular modelling with DAX programming.
  • Experience with Tableau is a plus.
