About the role


This position will be part of a global and culturally diverse team, having the responsibility to support driving the unit's strategy for providing global Processes related services and support while living up to Swiss Re's corporate values. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and planning tasks or projects within the Operational Excellence unit.  You will collaborate with Business Experts globally to identify improvement opportunities, propose improvement projects and implement process changes in collaboration with Business Experts, Enabling and Governance.

Leading well-defined projects or process improvement efforts across multiple locations and drive the acceptance of change will be also part of this role, as well as providing excellent services to the internal customers by understanding their needs and priorities.

The successful candidate is expected to interact directly with Business Management key stakeholders, colleagues from other teams of the Enabling unit and in particular with the corresponding counterpart taking care of Business Management community across the globe. Act as spearheads to lead the OpEx implementation within the organization.


About the team

The Opex Bangalore team is part of Global PC Business Management Operational Excellence team. The Opex Bangalore team supports in driving the overall unit's strategy for providing global Processes related services and support while living up to Swiss Re's corporate values. The team has 3 senior employees including the manager and works with stakeholder across PC Business Management and global locations.

  • Analytical Skills: Distinct analytical skills and understanding of statistical concepts
  • Planning, Setup and Execution of small to medium projects
  • Use of standard PM tools such as project planning, stakeholder map, communication plan, workshop planning, issue tracking, etc.
