About the role:

  • Understand business needs and closely work with cross functional teams in order to contribute towards operational efficiencies across value chain
  • Identifying opportunities for enhancements and work on process excellence topics/projects that facilitate quick wins as well as long term benefits 
  • Drive operational excellence topics by challenging status quo and coming up with recommendations and solutions to optimize processes
  • Identify Process automation areas (such as replacing manual steps/nonvalue added steps and involvement in implementation of improved processes)
  • Develop in-depth understanding of the process and tools and contribute in value added activities and capitalize on improvement opportunities
  • Actively contribute towards KPI/Metrics requirements with insights on KPIs results within the process
  • Work on various data sources, provides valuable insights and present information through visualization and reports/dashboards
  • Automate data preparation and report creation where possible and identify better reporting capabilities and spotting of efficiency opportunities
  • Develop and implement business deep dives and ad-hoc analysis bringing together analysis and reporting it to the senior leaders
  • Continuously improve and deliver by leveraging analytical tools/techniques and deliver on new and ad hoc Metrics/reporting requests
  • Identification of operational risks and development of processes and controls to help mitigate such risks
  • Contribute in departmental/ divisional initiatives and projects
  • Any other ad hoc tasks as required from time to time, which are deemed to be appropriate for this role

 

About You:

  • You will be part of Strategy and Operations (S&O) Enabling Team. In this role you will be working on topics such as Operation excellence, reporting capabilities, and further enhancement of the performance management Metrics/KPI's across the value chain
  • In addition, in this role you will be working on various projects and initiatives as part of continuous improvement practices within the unit

 

Key skills, knowledge and Experience:

  • Prior experience working in a reinsurance/insurance business process
  • Hands on experience working on Process Improvements and Operational excellence topics
  • Well versed working on MS Office tools and reporting tools such as tableau, Power BI and other related tools
  • Extensive experience bringing data together from multiple platforms and sources and showcase in easy to understand visualization/insights
  • Certification/experience in business intelligence. Analytics, six sigma, lean   etc. would be a plus
  • Innovative mindset to identify improvement opportunities
  • Prior work experience related to Risk and controls, governance related reporting will be an advantage
