About the role

  • As truck fleet solutions sales lead, lead Swiss Re China's truck fleet insurance solutions cross-functional sales team, enhance and execute the corresponding go-to-market strategy, to achieve Swiss Re's ambitions in the mobility & transportation segment.
  • Enhance solutions to meet needs from primary insurance partners in the truck fleet segment
  • Originate business opportunities, develop the sales pipeline, and commercialise the related solutions
  • Coordinate local, regional and global resources to deliver the solution products and services
  • Identify, develop and maintain partnerships, including but not limited to start-ups, tech companies, research institutes, distribution channels, etc.

 

About the team

Continuing growth in China P&C insurance marketplace offers more opportunities for innovation, and truck fleet related insurance is one of them. Increasing market needs and strong government support boost growth, for both conventional and emerging risks, enabled by the technology advancement in the risk management and data science.

Swiss Re China P&C Solutions team aims to develop innovative solutions that can address the needs of our reinsurance clients in China, such as product offering, risk management, etc., by leveraging our global resources on the new risk knowledge, data, technology, ecosystem partnership, etc.

 

As truck fleet solutions sales lead, you will commercialize and enhance Swiss Re's related solutions in China, and perform a diverse set of responsibilities in order to strongly position Swiss Re as a leader in the truck fleet insurance space. This is a unique opportunity to drive innovation and technological developments so as to be part of the re/insurance transformation.

 

About you

Professional Experience

  • Minimum bachelor's degree with minimum 8 years' working experience in insurance or risk management industry and at least 3+ years in international companies.
  • Profound understanding of motor insurance industry landscape and future development trend
  • Broad network and deep insight in the truck fleet insurance related industries
  • Proven business development acumen and strong track record of building commercial partnerships
  • Demonstrable track record of developing innovative insurance or other risk management solutions
