About the role

Are you ready to be at the cutting edge of developing business opportunities for Swiss Re? Do you like driving the big picture and at the same time rolling up your sleeves for the details? We are seeking an innovative, pragmatic and results-oriented senior client manager to join China P&C Client Markets team. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with expert colleagues across Reinsurance Business Units to deliver value to our clients.

 

Position Summary

  • Take lead in client facing projects and initiatives. Maintain a steadfast understanding of client needs today and tomorrow. Position Swiss Re as a trusted partner and solutions provider on business growth, profitability and innovation.
  • Build and manage relationships with clients at all levels, including key decision makers in reinsurance, underwriting, finance and actuarial departments.
  • Achieve strategic, business and financial targets as per approved Business Plan for assigned business portfolio.

 

Main tasks / activities

      -  You will be responsible for oversight of development and execution of business plans and client services plans. Ensure Swiss Re is the first port of call for assigned business portfolio.

      -  Innovate new business ideas via analytics and deep understanding of client needs. Actively identify and originate new business opportunities. Develop rationale and value proposition for client pitches.

      -  Commercialize new initiatives. Transform knowledge into new reinsurance solutions, refine existing ones and connect offerings to client needs.

      -  Effectively driving internally across various functions to deliver Swiss Re value propositions.

 

About the team

P&C Client Management

 

About you

  • Minimum 7~10 years of relevant insurance, analytics, underwriting, consulting, and / or sales experience. Strong knowledge in China insurance and financial services market.
  • Skillset of actuarial, data analytics, corporate finance, and an ability to illustrate how different offerings may impact direct insurance business, regulatory, accounting and equity valuation is a plus.
  • Open-minded and proactive team player with aptitude for sales and origination. Highly motivated and ability to sustain high level of work output and deadline pressure. Frequent business travels
