About the Role

China is one of the most important markets for Swiss Re. In the past years, we have achieved significant growth and Swiss Re is committed to further investment to grow China market. We welcome more talents on board to support the growth, together we contribute to the future success of Swiss Re China.

As a member of China Solutions Group, the client initiatives specialist is expected to provide support on strategic projects execution and develop client initiatives to reach the business goals. The role is open for talents who are open-minded and ready to embrace challenges.



  1. Support various client initiatives and coordinate assigned projects with multiple teams.
  2. Engage with Client Markets, and various internal stakeholders to assist the team to provide a suitable solutions and services to our clients.
  3. Develop, schedule, co-ordinate and monitor various client activities
  4. Activate assigned projects execution, including industry events, client seminars, training programs, workshops and various campaign progress, ensuring timely delivery of required materials & input for events
  5. Develop promotional materials for various communications connections for sharing with internal and external stakeholders, and through various social media and internal communication channels
  6. Assist solutions managers in compiling internal reporting and external presentations
  7. Conduct market intelligence researches, and participate in research projects both internally and externally
  8. Perform ad hoc tasks assigned by line manager


About the Team

The role will be in China Solutions Group which is part of China Client Markets team. We are the forefront of Swiss Re innovation and driving innovative initiatives to the market and solve our clients' problems. This is an exciting team with talents with extensive knowledge and experiences, and enthusiasm towards work.


About You

  • Bachelor degree or above required, majoring in insurance/marketing/actuarial science/statistics are preferred
  • 5 years+ working experience, with some experience in insurance industry. Preferably with project management and marketing experience in previous roles. Knowledge in insurance products is a plus.
  • Can comfortably work in a dynamic environment. Responsible, attentive to details, strong problem-solving capability and demonstrates flexibility at work
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Efficient, self-motivated, organized, can deliver high quality work under time pressure
  • Excellent in PowerPoint
  • Fluency in written and spoken in both Mandarin Chinese and English
