About the Role

  • Prepare journal entries, staff reimbursement, third party payments, payroll accounting, etc.
  • Perform key tasks in monthly and quarterly closing and prepare local statutory reporting.
  • Prepare of monthly expense reports and inter-co statements
  • Prepare quarterly regulatory reporting such as solvency reporting, foreign exchange reporting, etc.
  • Assist and perform key task in yearly closing.
  • Preparation of tax documents and forms for CIT and other possible main tax (e.g. VAT)
  • Preparation of other ad hoc reports required by group or relevant authorities
  • Assist in preparation of CBIRC documents
  • Assist in reviewing control procedures in relevant areas

About the Team

       A key member to the Finance team of SR Beijing with primary responsibility in supporting an effective and efficient finance operation and financial reporting.   

About You

Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge on financial accounting, reporting and tax related requirements of insurance companies in China
  • Good knowledge on internal controls relevant to finance operations and reporting

Skills:

  • Least 3 years of related experience, preferably two to three years with Big 4 audit
  • Strong background in analysis, problem-solving and client management
  • Able to work independently
  • Able to identify issues and initiate effective communication with internal stakeholders, including the provision of appropriate accounting advice
  • Good written English and interpersonal skills.  Able to express thoughts / advice clearly
  • Strong Excel spreadsheet skills preferred.
