About the role

- Develop and maintain the reinsurance pricing basis for different business lines in China
- Perform analysis on data relating to the emerging experience
- Design and price insurance products that meet the clients' need, market environment and internal risk appetite, together with the wider cross functional team experts
- Conduct research for risk assessment of new product innovation and/or new risk pools development
- Support the marketing of Swiss Re’s services by working closely with client markets; expect some (~10%) client facing time
- Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by the line manage


About the team

The jobholder will be part of the pricing team and also part of the cross functional team that includes client market, pricing, underwriting, claims and other functions.


About You

  • Bachelor degree or above required
  • Good actuarial exam progression with an accredited actuarial society
  • Up to 3 years of professional industry experience
  • Pricing experience in China preferred
  • Can demonstrate both strong technical knowledge and communication skills
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese required; fluency in English a plus
