About the team:

The Pricing Innovation team consists of 2 members located in the Beijing office and is expected to have the potential to grow going forward.

About the role:

Reporting to the Head of L&H Products China, you will lead the Pricing Innovation team with a focus on opening new risk pools, improving our Pricing techniques, and be on top of portfolio performance in China. This team will also be responsible for the new business steering and operational excellence of the pricing function in China. It requires strong technical ability, leadership, agility and creativity, stakeholder management skills as well as strategic mindset.

Major responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive implementation of relevant strategic priorities and new business steering activities of L&H Products in China
  • Strive for continuous improvement in optimization of pricing technique and process
  • Review and update Terms of Trade for China
  • Define ways to price new risk
  • Build a strong governance framework on China pricing to achieve operational excellence, and ensure compliance of internal standards for all pricing teams

About you

  • Proven leadership and management skills
  • Solid L&H insurance industry expertise and market knowledge, ideally with an actuarial qualification
  • Strong technical understanding of L&H re/insurance
  • Minimum of fifteen years experience in re/insurance
  • Analytical and conceptual skills
  • Creative mindset and innovative skills, flexibility
