About the role:

Are you passionate about aligning business priorities with the strategic People agenda? We have an exciting opportunity to partner with the business in shaping and leading change in iptiQ America, which centers around building a vibrant, nurturing, agile and high-performance culture. You will be front and center in working with the iptiQ America CEO and the leadership team in crafting a people centered organization and co-creating the People strategy for iptiQ along with the iptiQ HR Head. iptiQ is a fast paced, rapidly growing and dynamic B2B2C business within Swiss Re

In summary, the key accountabilities are:

  • Partner with business leaders to define and execute the People agenda for iptiQ America and ensure the alignment with the business strategies and overall People strategy
  • Act as a trusted sparring partner, mentor and counsel to senior leaders, supporting and challenging them on people decisions, providing people solutions and interventions to support the growth
  • Own implementation and in some cases design of pan iptiQ initiatives to drive our people ambition
  • Drive organizational efficiency in iptiQ America in collaboration with the leadership team, iptiQ HR team and the wider HR team
  • Responsible for the efficiency of all elements of the employee lifecycle including culture, organizational design, workforce planning, recruiting, development, organizational planning, engagement, performance management, employee relations and compensation planning
  • Advise and support business leaders on executive recruiting and hiring strategies, including global mobility, liaising with Country HR where required
  • Contribute to global and regional HR projects as needed and appropriate

You are part of the iptiQ HR team. You will collaborate closely with your colleagues in the team, business leaders and OPD to ensure a pragmatic and commercial execution of People priorities.

Furthermore, you bring the following skills, knowledge and expertise:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent and 10+ years of work experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years in HR business partnering
  • Experience scaling businesses in a hi-tech, global, matrixed environment is desirable
  • Experienced professional with in-depth HR expertise across topics such as performance, reward, culture, organisational design and people development is desirable
  • Consistent track record of successful implementation of change/transformation projects is desirable
  • Highly commercial with an analytical bent of mind and intuition for business
  • Strong relationship building and collaboration skills
  • Consultative, influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong execution focus and results orientation
  • Strong problem solving and decision making skills
  • Confident in challenging the status quo
  • Anticipates future challenges and turns insights into desirable, feasible and viable solutions
  • Excellent story-boarding, communication and presentation skills
  • Plugged into external best practice from the market
