About the role

 

Are you looking to take your next step in a start-up environment offering room for you to grow? As an Operations Analyst, you have an exciting opportunity to join the Insurance Operations team in charge of setting-up and running the sales operations of iptiQ, a rapidly expanding business unit within a global organization. You will be responsible for the oversight of our new business processes and the analysis and resolution of production issues. You will also support the business by developing knowledge of processes and systems across all front-end functions, including intersections with other functional units and external vendors and partners. You will report into the Operations Support lead.

 

As part of this role, you will:

 

  • Conduct regularly scheduled oversight activities to ensure smooth operations (develop, maintain and execute auditing process and schedule which may include call monitoring, voice signature, policy page review, commission statements and consumer feedback log)
  • Identify opportunities and implement changes that improve the customer experience or operational efficiency including the automation of oversight activities
  • Conduct production testing and post-production monitoring as necessary
  • Monitor and enhance operational reports, identifying trends and gaps, establishing action plans based on set thresholds
  • Be a problem solver: analyze issues, identify root causes, propose solutions and consistently track issue resolution.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the iptiQ's Life and Health insurance portfolios
  • Support teams by collaborating with business, analytics, and technology units throughout iptiQ and Swiss Re and external sources to assist with day-to-day tactical data needs and long-term strategic goals
  • Work very closely with the business partners, external vendors and distributions partners
  • Develop knowledge of processes and systems across all front-end functions, including intersections with other functional units and external vendors and partners
  • Participate in testing activities, including the creation of test strategies and test scenarios
  • Review and draft business requirements as required
  • Support, develop and help train new teammates as required.

  • You have experience working with SQL and can analyze and present data in a meaningful way
  • You are resourceful in overcoming barriers to achieve objectives. You can handle multiple assignments with overlapping delivery dates. You learn how to use new tools quickly.
  • You demonstrate a creative mindset with a strong interest in new technologies. You are hands-on and enjoy resolving problems.
  • You are familiar with agile environments.
  • You effectively communicate business issues, objectives and scope. You have strong presentation skills and enjoy working within a rapidly changing environment.
  • You are passionate about delivering customer value and seamless customer experience. You are detailed oriented and take pride in delivering high quality results.
