About The Role

  • As an Operations Analyst in the Operations Services team, you’ll regularly partner with our IT engineers to remove barriers, answer questions, and test resolved production issues prior to production elevation supporting our Life and Health insurance products, and policyholders.
  • You'll passionately advocate for the policyholders ensuring the secured preservation of their personal, health, and lifestyle information.
  • Adherence to policy, processes, and practice will drive your daily interactions, outcome, and performance.
  • Conduct regular user-acceptance testing pertaining to merged releasees in accordance to the iptiQ standards, including strategy, execution, and defect resolution.
  • Monitor postproduction activities ensuring platform journeys, integrations, and outcomes are performing as expected in a live environment.
  • Participate in production incident (P1) taskforce, driving resolution timely and accurately.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the iptiQ's Life and Health insurance portfolios.
  • Support teams by collaborating with business, analytics, and technology units. throughout iptiQ and Swiss Re and external sources to assist with day-to-day tactical data needs and long-term strategic goals.
  • Work very closely with the business partners, external vendors, and distributions partners.
  • Develop knowledge of processes and systems across all front-end functions, including intersections with other functional units and external vendors and partners.



  • Interact daily with the IT engineer resources to ensure progress is being made on prioritized backlog requests.
  • Communicate effectively and timely, verbally and in writing, across various communication tools.
  • Execute testing in lower and higher environments, ensuring acceptance criteria is met, and provide sign-off authorizing elevation of code in production.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer to business and technical resources ensuring that distribution and customer impact is understood, and business problem is being resolved.
  • Translate business problems to technical community and communicate technical results to the business community.
  • Fully engage and execute on priority one incident, driving resolution, with a cross-functional team.
  • Manage multiple postproduction activities at one time, accurately and timely, ensuring that recent code is performance as expected without disruption.
  • Report a visually pleasing report out on performance against key performance indicators.  Communicate with stakeholder socializing performance results.
  • Work cross functional to ensure performance degradation, or performance outcomes are shared, leveraged, and addressed.
  • Establish and maintain procedure documentation.
  • Support other organizational assignments as needed.

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience with broad testing suites, and various technical environments.
  • Minimum of 2 years knowledge with digital platform technologies.
  • Some auditing, quality control related experience a plus.
  • Ability to deal positively with ambiguity in a fast-moving business environment.
  • Comfort working in a start-up style environment where the pace is fast the path is not always linear or clear.
  • You have experience working with SQL and Excel, and can analyze and present data in a meaningful way
  • You demonstrate a creative mindset; you are hands-on and enjoy resolving problems.
  • You are familiar with agile environments.
  • You effectively communicate business issues, objectives, and scope. You have strong presentation skills and enjoy working within a rapidly changing environment.
  • You are passionate about delivering customer value and seamless customer experience. You are detailed oriented and take pride in delivering high quality results
