About The Role

 

  • As Product Design Lead in the Product and Propositions team, you'll be responsible for the User Experience Design strategy for the agent digital experience to enable our partners to easily sell our Life and Health insurance products. We're looking for a strong Product Design Lead that can help build a user-centric company culture, advocate for our users at all levels, lead complex industry challenges, and craft fabulous experiences.
  • You'll partner closely with Product Managers and User Researchers to chart a "North Star" for the technical product vision. You'll lead efforts to identify key user insights and develop KPIs and metrics to enable strategic user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features. Collaborate with cross-functional teams of external and internal developers, product owners, and other stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Design simple, elegant, data-driven, user-centric experiences that delight users
  • Define the user experience, interactions, and user interface through user flows, information architecture, sketches and wireframes, and visual design
  • Help shape the product strategy and vision
  • Build functional prototypes to validate and test your designs
  • Participate in user research and testing
  • Look for opportunities to solve problems in unique and innovative ways
  • Help maintain visual and brand consistency between all products and outlets
  • Collaborate with team members to translate business goals into unique product experiences
  • Ensure compliance of product features to requirements including that of information security, regulation, and risk management.
  • Bonus: Experience defining and building design systems.

About You

 

  • 5+ years of product design experience
  • Bachelor or Master degree in a human factors information design (or equivalent work experience)
  • Strong conceptual thinking combined with excellent problem-solving capabilities and an innovative attitude
  • An entrepreneurial approach with ability to work in a fast paced, flexible environment on multiple concurrent projects.
  • Extensive experience in using UX/UI design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
  • Expertise in standard product design tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to business teams, clients and development team.

 

Experience using methodologies such as Agile, Design Thinking, Lean UX, and Lean Startup.
