About the role

Seeking an individual with passion and experience optimizing UX/UI.  You will report into the Marketing Director who is responsible for all branding, consumer research and UX/UI.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage both short-term and long-term consumer experience projects leveraging UX best practice and consumer insights.  Oversee optimization of the current consumer journey by defining KPIs, continuously measuring and bringing creative and practical ideas to the table to improve conversion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members including Operations, Product Management and IT to push forward the creation and assessment of new UX/UI projects
  • Work effectively with external digital agency when appropriate
  • Proactively bring UX/UI ideas to the team that tackle both partner and consumer challenges
  • Maintain CRM for all digital assets (websites, interactive tools, etc)
  • Create UI for agent and consumer marketing campaigns
  • Co-lead ongoing funnel analytics review meeting
  • Be part of the Sales and Marketing team

About You

 

You are interested in joining an energetic and ambitious team dedicated to changing the landscape of Life Insurance and closing the vast protection gap in America.  You are genuinely passionate about the work you do, intensely curious and always strive to make things better.  Below are some important capabilities and skills that will enhance your ability to succeed.

 

  • 5-7 years working experience in UX/UI in an e-commerce environment (experience in life insurance a plus but not required)
  • Consumer-centric mindset with hands-on experience in e-commerce environment
  • Highly flexible and willing and able to adjust to needs that arise in the marketplace
  • Strong project management skills with high degree of comfort managing multiple projects and multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to use qualitative and quantitative skills to evaluate consumer journeys combining analytics with creativity
  • Strong communication skills and ability to communicate to a broad, diverse audience "what is happening" with the online journey and how we can improve it
  • Comfort working in a start-up style environment where the pace is fast the path is not always linear or clear
  • Passionate and curious
