About the Role


As an agile coach in our global Agile Center of Excellence you are at the forefront of transforming our organisation to be more agile, focusing on making a difference to Swiss Re. You are part of the cultural transformation to move our enterprise towards a tech and data driven risk knowledge company. As an experienced change leader, you'll help our employees and management to understand and support the agile way of working. You will be a key player to drive the current agile transformation initiative in Information Technology.

You have helped teams and organisations to scale-up agile product development and service delivery, agile way of working and you have left back new Agile Experts as your fingerprints? You see it as strategically critical to business? You know how to coach Executives Leaders into Catalysts? Familiar with the manifesto for Agile Software Development and the principles behind it inside out and can apply in the context of business product/service development as well? You understand the purpose of agile governance and frameworks? Developing the agile mindset in organisations and removing roadblocks is what makes you feel fulfilled? You enjoy enabling teams and leaders to create safe and fun environments? Then this role may be for you!


We are looking for Agile Coaches, whose main responsibilities are: 


  • Coaching & Transformation: Support the current agile transformation in Information Technology
  • Accompany teams and organisations at various stages of their Agile journey, identify and address impediments. Develop & coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Agile Leaders and more
  • Awareness & Training: Develop and deliver training to all levels of the organisation. Increase agile awareness, help creating an agile mindset across the enterprise.
  • Consulting: Guidance on specific issues raised during the Agile journey across the organization
  • Design, maintain and develop the agile governance and best practice continuously
  • Design and drive Shared Leadership Labs
  • Coach and support Executive Management into Catalyst Leadership


About the Team


As part of Swiss Re's newly created Division Group Digital Transformation, the Design and Delivery Service team is delivering business transformation & simplification capabilities, customer experience & service management and execution services across the Swiss Re group to enable transformation and innovation initiatives. The ACC is a team of 10 experienced agile coaches providing agile transformation services across the group. The team is distributed across different locations. All coaches are hands-on, help and guide organisations along every aspect of their agile journey. Interested in being a part of a new and creative team? About You


Professional background, experience and mindset:


  • Have transformed several organizations in different domains to agile way of working
  • Expertise in Scrum and/or Kanban and/or Agile Leadership (e.g. PSM I/II, KMP1/2, CAL1/2, DevOps or can demonstrate equivalent knowledge) and experience in teaching these frameworks
  • Five+ years practical experience in applying agile frameworks at scale
  • Consistent record in developing Agile Leaders, Scrum Masters, Product Owners
  • Immense coaching & mentoring experience
  • Substantial experience in building teams and driving continuous improvement and self-organisation
  • Facilitation, leadership, and relationship building skills
  • Collaborator, able to work independently with a creative and innovative mind-set  
  • Familiar with balancing between Expert, Achiever and Catalyst Leadership Style
  • University degree in applied sciences, engineering or business


Minimum base salary for this job from 2500 EUR gross/month/full time. Our offer to you may be higher based on your skills and experience and will include additional rewards and benefits. We are required by law to disclose basic wage component (minimum salary) for the advertised positions. We carefully consider your professional competencies, qualifications and experience in our compensation package and/or when offering you other positions. Our compensation philosophy is to pay fairly, also considering market situation and the value employees may bring to Swiss Re.
