About the Job

As a Java / Web Developer, we develop and maintain web applications for Group Management IT services for Board and Executive Directors as well as Group Associated Units. In particular, we are developing ESP meeting portal and executive steering dashboards running on browser as well as in an enterprise iOS container app. You will be joining an innovative development team and will also be engaged in the architecture and design discussion going across various technology, e.g. Java, HTML, Web Application Server, Oracle DB. About the Team

We are a small team providing IT services to the Group Board of Directors, the Executive Committee and the Associated Units. We believe we have a great service catalogue which includes project management, business analysis as well as development of modern software solutions. We are forward-thinking, a creative team of experts and can make a positive impact especially in the area of management dashboards to support our Group Executives in their daily life, in their productivity and user experience.


About You

In your role you are responsible for:

•Implementation of functional requirements and adaptation to a changing IT infrastructure

•Development and maintenance of robust, powerful & scalable Java/HTML/Java Script solutions

•Participation in Solution Design

•Use of modern technology, methods and standard methodologies to build user-friendly solutions


Key skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:

•You hold a Bachelors or Master's degree in a technical field or bring practical experience in Information Technology

•You have 3-5 years experience with Web Development (HTML5, Java Script), Java, JEE and the related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate), SQL (Oracle) and related technologies

•You have worked in Cloud environments

•You have experience with Git, Bitbucket

•You are able to quickly make use of new technologies

•You are passionate about architecture design and put it into practice.

•You are familiar with the agile development approach: Scrum, agile testing, continuous integration.

•You have good communication skills and a professional way of presentation.

•You are highly motivated, forward-looking and able to take on a high workload from the start of the end of a project.

•You care about: security, quality, user experience, documentation, team spirit.

•You are comfortable working in a multi functional environment working together with top class business experts.

•Your basic know-how in financial mathematics or experience in financial services e.g. asset & liability management is a plus.

•You have strong analytical and problem solving skills

•You have a good command of English, knowledge of German is an asset

•Managing pressure is not a problem

•You are independent and responsive in character and work

•You are flexible and open for new tasks, willing to learn permanently

•You like to work in teams and show a 'yes can do' attitude

Minimum base salary for this job from 1700 EUR gross/month/full time. Our offer to you may be higher based on your skills and experience and will include additional rewards and benefits.
