Cost Analyst
About the role
As a multi-faceted analyst, are you looking for new challenges to grow personally in a start-up environment? In this position, you will have an exceptional and exciting opportunity to join iptiQ's cost management team in charge of the day-to-day financial controlling, such as forecasting, planning, reporting, analytics, and commentaries for iptiQ. You will join a diverse team committed to delivering services to iptiQ's wide variety of clients. We put the consumer experience at the heart of everything we do. Your direct reporting line will be to the Head Cost Management, iptiQ within the Global FP&A function.
As part of this role, you will:

Assist Cost Partner's to capture and control all actual, forecasted and planning expense financial activities and transactions.

Oversee the accounting of all expense related financial transactions generated ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting regulations.

Monthly Management Report execution/automatization.

Providing input to enable numerous views on costs and driving iptiQ wide cost initiatives

Perform quality and consistency checks to ensure a high quality of your deliverables and outputs

Collaborate effectively cross-functionally

Be a problem solver: analyze issues, identify root causes, propose solutions, and consistently track issue resolution.

Respond and deliver ad-hoc requests to provide key insights for management into the expense base and help steer decision making capabilities
About you

You should have at least 2 years of experience in a related field.

Advance MS Excel skills and VBA programming highly desired

Bachelor's degree (Accounting/Finance/Business) is required

Experience in a controlling/FP&A/accounting role is an advantage

You possess a broad financial acumen, familiarity with the accounting for expenses and expense allocations as well as a strong control orientation

You are working in a structured manner but can also be agile and think outside the box

Excellent personal time management, prioritization, and deadline adherence

Structured working style and the attention to detail

Strong communication skills – ability to communicate complex issues in a clear and concise fashion

You are passionate about delivering costumer value and seamless customer experience. You are detail oriented and take pride in delivering high quality output

Proven PC skills including Microsoft Office, SAP and preferably PowerBi

Excellent command of the English language.
The minimum gross monthly base salary for this role is 1700 EUR full time. Our final offer to you will be set up fairly, considering the skills and experience that you bring to the Swiss Re Group.
