Data Analyst, Awareness & Comms - Digital Risk Insights (Hybrid setup)
Join a team of digital risk governance and security professionals, helping Swiss Re to fulfil its mission in making the world more resilient. Within Digital Risk Insights, you'll execute on our digital risk governance communications & reporting agenda, developing deliverables to various internal and external audiences. You'll contribute to digital campaigns, training content and internal reports to ensure our messages on digital risks are well-understood.
What's more, you'll be working in a hybrid setup, perfectly balancing work from home and the office premises.
About the team
The proposition you'll join, Digital Risk Insights is responsible for bringing insights from the dynamically changing world of digital & technology risks – both within and outside Swiss Re. We aim to establish a 'single source of truth' on our exposures, what we can do about them, and how we make and measure progress as an organisation. For this, we combine our collective expertise, curiosity and actively seek out effective data-driven solutions.
We belong to the Security Team, which is the focal point for all security activities across Swiss Re. We are responsible for cybersecurity engineering and operations, governance, risk and compliance. We define and advance the company's security and digital risk governance & control strategy.
In your role, you will…
• Develop insights and 'connect the dots', offering new ways to look at digital challenges
• Be responsible for developing and co-ordinating communications on our current initiatives and priorities
• Drive a cohesive risk culture within the digital & technology organisation, developing training materials for our staff
• Prepare and coordinate campaigns and awareness-related activities in close coordination with other departments including security, legal and compliance
• Keep our content current on all internal channels (SharePoint, MS Teams etc.)
• Support the front-end design of our data dashboards and collect end-user requirements/ feedback
• Coordinate rollouts and related communications
• Draw on our dashboards and stakeholder inputs to deliver regular reporting content on digital & technology risks
• Join Swiss Re's healthy and transparent risk culture where everyone engages in continuous risk accountability activities
Your qualifications
Nobody is perfect and meets 100% of our requirements. If you, however, meet some of the criteria below and are curious about the intersection of digital innovation, risks and corporate communications, we'll be more than happy to meet you!
What we need from you
- Tech savvy with a strong interest in digital innovation, digital risks and cybersecurity
- Ability to break down complex technical topics and communicate them in a relatable and clear way
- At least 3 years of demonstratable experience with business analysis and/or handling communications (e.g. research, social media, blogging, videos, online messaging, hosted & virtual events, information campaigns, training delivery)
- Prior education and/ or track record with tackling projects in cybersecurity, IT risk management, privacy and related topics
- Data literacy, experience using various Business Intelligence tools, and ability to draw informative insights
- Data visualisation experience (e.g. developing views in PowerBI, Tableau, Palantir Foundry)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, ability to work effectively against set deadlines
- Collaborative mindset, 'can-do' attitude
- Passion, drive, and a belief in the value of insights and communications in influencing decision-making
Nice-to-have
- Experience with video editing software, creative content creation, creating customized PowerApps deliverables
- Data analytics experience
- Additional certifications in information security (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, NIST, ISO)
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between [EUR 2,200] and [EUR 3,700] per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
• the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
