About The Role


We are looking for an Executive Assistant to join Swiss Re in Bratislava and provide administrative support to our Management members/Unit Heads (C-bands) in Reinsurance Centre based in Zurich, US and Asia.

Core responsibilities include travel (domestic and international), expenses, calendaring, phone and meeting support. You will also assist with projects and special assignments relating to client and employee activities. We are looking for someone who has the ability to determine and reprioritize priorities, assist and at times drive time management, monitor progress and gain agreement of others. We also need you to independently, anticipating issues, problem - solving and adjusting plans as needed.



  • You would be responsible for actively managing calendars including conflicts and deadlines and, anticipating issues with day to day activities and resolving them in advance
  • You would be arranging all travel, meetings and conference calls & sending meeting invitations, registering visitors and reserving conference rooms
  • You would be arranging business trips (booking flights, transfers, hotel accommodations, etc.)
  • You would be filing travel and entertainment expense reports; preparing requisitions for purchase orders and expense reimbursements
  • You would be following up on incoming requests and take necessary actions
  • You would be preparing presentation materials, minutes and necessary documents
  • You would support records management, establish and organize filing system
  • Ordering of access rights for tools and drives via IT ticket
  • Provide cover for roles in other teams
  • Any other ad hoc tasks as required from time to time


About You


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in administration
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Outlook
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, able to manage priorities of more than 1 stakeholder and different deadlines in the most efficient way
  • Ability to perform daily work independently with limited directions
  • Comfortable to interact with staff at all levels and work effectively in a team environment




Solves business problems using own initiative, within parameters of own role.



Should be able to see how own objectives fit in with the overall team/business objectives.  Questions any areas, which do not fit. Appreciates the each function plays within the Company and related roles externally.



Ability and willingness to obtain, use and share information, ideas and knowledge with others across the organisation and clients as appropriate to maximise business effectiveness.



Aware of the importance of internal and external clients, understands their needs and works with them to meet these. Focuses on delivery, meeting deadlines and providing high quality service.



Willingness and ability to put forward a convincing point of view within the parameter of own job.

The minimum gross monthly base salary for this role is 1200 EUR full time.
