About the Role

Are you looking for a rare opportunity to learn about Solvency II? You bringing experience in Solvency II is not necessary, we are happy to teach you!

This role provides you the chance to gain a deep understanding of our business and the Solvency II and economic valuation reporting of a major legal entity of the Reinsurance business leader. You will collaborate closely with experts in different functions that will support your professional and personnel development. You will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

In this mainly Solvency II role, you will be responsible for the Solvency II quantitative and narrative reporting and will have responsibility for co-ordination, development, understanding and analysis of the Solvency II results, including the Solvency II balance sheet and P&L and Solvency II capital requirements, on a quarterly and annual basis. You will also contribute to our economic valuation reporting and analysis.

Main tasks:

− Maintain good and robust processes for all Solvency II deliverables

− Organize, prepare and deliver very good quality and regulatory compliant Solvency II quantitative and narrative reporting in the required timeframe and quality to management, the Board of Directors and the Regulator

− In depth understanding of balance sheet, P&L positions and capital requirement including variance analysis on a quarterly and annual basis

− Delivers on the internal economic valuation reporting requirements.

− Builds and understands the full legal entity Solvency II and economic valuation story line. Compares to the other valuations on a regular basis (at least bi-annually).

− Continually enhances systems and processes to meet Solvency II Regulatory requirements. Ensures optimal and efficient Solvency II processes involving close development work and coordination with other Finance teams, IT and Risk divisions and their teams.

About the Team

We are looking for a qualified and highly motivated colleague to join our Carrier Reporting & Analysis Services team. Jointly and in close collaboration with the Carrier team in Luxembourg, the team plays a pivotal Finance role in the preparation, analysis and reporting of financial information for all valuations of one of the biggest legal entity of Swiss Re Group.

About You

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Risk, Finance, Accounting and/or Actuarial sciences
  • University degree in Risk, Actuarial sciences, Accounting, Business administration or economic
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong IT skills, especially in regards of databases and MS Excel
  • Ability to communicate concisely and accurately, especially externally
  • Strong teammate
  • Intercultural competencies and the ability to understand complex processes and quickly and efficiently adapt to changes
  • Excellent command of the English language, French language skills beneficial


Minimum base salary for this job from 1100 EUR gross/month/full time. Our offer to you may be higher based on your skills and experience and will include additional rewards and benefits. *
