About the Programme


We are looking for graduates with strong interpersonal skills, who are eager to learn and broaden their knowledge and expertise. You have a Bachelor, Master or PhD degree with up to 3 years professional experience – we invite you to apply to our graduates@swissre programme 2023.

About the role


Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Identify and analyse needs from different technical and business aspects

  • Come up with new use cases, sequence diagrams and processes for our systems

  • Create technical and interface specifications together with architects and developers

  • Assess the severity of access management-related events or gaps across our digital space

  • Prepare concepts and designs for innovative solutions in cooperation with other experts

  • Propose future security service improvements to meet digital transformation demands

  • Support the development of user-friendly customer-oriented solutions

  • Be involved in testing and troubleshooting of new and existing Identity and Access Management (IAM)-targeted solutions



About the team


The Security Team is the focal point for all security activities across Swiss Re. We are responsible for cybersecurity engineering and operations, governance, risk and compliance, and defining as well as advancing the company's security strategy. As a part of the Security Team, Security Solutions is a team which designs, improves, develops and maintains security solutions and services, while keeping primary focus on Identity & Access Management (IAM).

We are about 70 people working in several agile teams in Bratislava, Zürich and Madrid, representing a variety of cultures, backgrounds, and specializations.



About You


  • Successfully completed university degree, preferably in IT Business/System Analysis or equivalent

  • Strong interest in/motivation to learn about insurance/reinsurance

  • Ability to analyse and capture technical and business requirements

  • Experience in technical business analysis using various analysis and design techniques

  • Ability to produce comprehensive and user-friendly documentation

  • Curiosity about information security, identity management, cloud technologies

  • Approaches problems with curiosity and open-mindedness, is a fast learner

  • Innovative, showing a high degree of own initiative

  • Team-player, willingness to contribute actively to the overall team spirit

  • Ability and enthusiasm to work in a global and multicultural environment, and to be mobile in terms of workplace or location if required

  • Aptitude to express yourself effectively in one-on-one conversations and small groups

  • Mature & self-confident; able to work with clients, business partners or senior colleagues

  • Capacity to readily adapt to a changing and dynamic environment

  • Proven expertise to work independently and proactively

  • Strong analytical skills and can focus on details without losing track of the bigger picture

  • Excellent oral and written English skills; additional language skills advantageous, in particular Slovak, Spanish or German

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills

Minimum base salary for this job is 1500 eur. Our final offer to you will be set up fairly, considering the skills and experience that you bring to the Swiss Re Group.
