Insurance Contracts Specialist with German

About the Role


Successful candidate will support underwriters & operations colleagues based in Switzerland in their business tasks. Within a fast-paced environment, this role provides you with a chance to influence business decisions and outcomes when dealing with sophisticated underwriting contracts. Did we catch your attention?   • Input and keep up-to-date information in internal systems and tools to accurately reflect the terms and conditions of business written

  • Regular interaction with external customers (brokers/leaders/insureds)

  • Compile, sort, review and verify data accuracy using source documents, detect errors, and initiate correction while following-up with customer or process owner regarding any inconsistencies found.

  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for assigned business

  • Follow-up on outstanding information or clarifications


About the Team


Business Services Bratislava provides support to CorSo Underwriting Teams in EMEA in handling insurance and reinsurance business for corporations and/or their captives.

You will be joining team with a variety of proficiencies, skills and experience, all committed to bring success to Corporate Solutions. In this role you will work closely with the EMEA Operations teams in various locations. Would you be interested to join our team?


About You


  • Proficient in spoken and written English and German (Level B2 or above)

  • Awareness of administrative procedures and general economic principles is a plus

  • Working knowledge of Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is encouraged

  • Ability to adapt to changes in tasks and priorities; independently manages its own workload

  • Quality focused, attention to detail and solution oriented, ability to identify and report problems

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively while prioritizing and multitasking in a constantly evolving environment

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and relation-building with people in multiple environments

The minimum gross monthly base salary for this role is 1600 EUR full time. Our final offer to you will be set up fairly, considering the skills and experience that you bring to the Swiss Re Group. You can look forward to extra rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
