About the Role

The Outsourcing Relationship Expert is a member of the Global Investment Reporting Team within the Finance Reinsurance Division. The successful candidate will act as a liaison between the 3rd party service provider, Genpact, and Swiss Re. The candidate should have extensive experience in relationship and project management ideally in combination with internal investment reporting processes & controls know how.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead all aspects of the overall operating model, including but not limited to day-to-day operations to help ensure all processes are running efficiently and deadlines are met;
  • Handle internal and external stakeholder relationships acting as the 1st line of defence for issue resolution and customer concerns;
  • Oversee the overall health of the processes outsourced to Genpact in terms of the nature of work, skillset required to perform the work, and ensuring efficient utilization of resources at Genpact;
  • Work to promote ongoing improvement of the service standards and thereby review, develop and implement critical metrics as the engagement matures;
  • Develop and lead a common governance, risk & control structure including a communication and escalation matrix, enabling improved transparency and dialogue;
  • Develop and propose mechanisms for encouraging best performance and alignment of interest;
  • Own and ensure adherence of SOW (Statement of Work) and its clauses and its constant alignment with the Master Service Agreement and report any possible deviation. Ensure that the legal framework and SOW reflect the needs of the department also on an ongoing basis
  • Build and foster commercial trust between the outsourcing partners, become aware of issues early in their evolution and to maintain a view of advancement against the plans;
  • Be responsible for certain operational as well as senior management meetings with responsibilities including facilitating & coordinating meetings and meeting content, preparing meeting documentation, and following through all decisions & action items till successful completion;
  • Develop business cases and other supporting material for anticipated changes requiring decision from management level;
  • Exhibit critical mindset to question the status quo in processes & work products;
  • Liaise with Team Leads to prepare trainings and support as required.

 

About the Team

The Global Investment Reporting team has the ownership of the Investment Financial Accounting sub-ledger for investments for all valuations and related reporting deliverables. The person will function as the key intermediary between Swiss Re and Genpact to ensure Accounting & Reporting's values and quality standards are upheld. The role will be heavily involved in cross location management and communication. A combination of interpersonal skills and Swiss Re business knowledge is critical. The governance structure, measurement of deliverables as well as critical metrics will be used to assess the ongoing performance in the BAU environment.

 

About You

 

To be successful in this role, the following position requirements are important:

  • Minimum 5 – 7 years of relevant work experience, of which at least 5 years have been
    in the area of investments, relationship or project management
  • University degree with emphasis in Accounting and/or Finance
  • Pro-active, forward looking mind set and high-quality delivery focus
  • Able to see the big picture while paying attention to details
  • Great teammate with a high degree of personal accountability
  • Good communication skills and ability to interact with all levels within organization
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and foster positive outcomes
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and meet tight deadlines
  • Work independently as well as part of a team

 

Minimum base salary for this job from 2700 EUR gross/month/full time. Our offer to you may be higher based on your skills and experience and will include additional rewards and benefits.
