About the Role and Team

 

Become a part of a growing and dynamic entrepreneurial team within the established Swiss Re Group. iptiQ is a start-up unit, established to provide innovative protection solutions directly to consumers. This is a rare opportunity for you to join and help shape a new team in the early stages of its development. We are looking for a talented individual, who can bring an enthusiastic 'can do' attitude to our team. Are you passionate about helping to build a new, complete, Finance team in Bratislava?

 

Main tasks/activities:

•Support the team in oversee, and liaise the Third-Party Policy Administrator finance and accounting activity, ensuring completeness, accuracy and timeliness of incoming data 

•Assist team in performing quality and consistency checks on deliverables and outputs

•Support comprehensive analysis and business commentaries with respect to the accounting policy, reporting, monitoring and reconciliation activities according to the management requirements

•Assist preparation of timely and accurate data for internal and external reporting

•Ensure compliance with the risk and control framework and the audit requirements

•Contribute and support Finance related projects as requested, including new deals

•Perform ad-hoc tasks as required

 

About You

 

•Two or more years of work experience in the financial services industry

•University degree in Economics, Science, Accounting or Business Administration

•Proven history of knowledge regarding statutory accounting policies and regulatory framework

•Excellent analytical skills with holistic financial thinking

•Strong communication skills - ability to communicate complex issues in a clear and concise fashion

•Proven PC skills, including Word and Excel

•Excellent command of the English language and German or French or Italian or Dutch or Spanish as a plus

 

 

Minimum base salary for this job is from 1500 EUR gross/month/full time. Our offer to you may be higher based on your skills and experience and will include additional rewards and benefits. *
