Main duties:

  • You will work on improvements of the internal control framework
  • You are going to drive the risk assessments for strategic transactions and projects
  • You should oversee the Financial Reporting Risk monitoring
  • You would be leading the Controls Improvement Programs (CIP) and global projects from Risk & Governance perspective
  • You will provide audit advisory services (both internally and externally)
  • You gain the opportunity to supervise and monitor open issues to ensure timely resolution and closure
  • coordinate the quarterly control reviews with CFOs


About the Team

Our team belongs to the Accounting & Reporting Office, a team spread across the world that provides advice and acts as trusted partner to Swiss Re Finance teams globally in the management of governance framework. Our FinRe Governance & Advisory team advises on risk mitigations in process and control related matters.

We are part of the Accounting & Reporting department in Finance Reinsurance which is responsible for the production of financial numbers, the consolidation of financial views in Reinsurance for external reporting and ensuring consistency across US GAAP, statutory and economic reporting bases.


About You

  • you have the University degree in Economics/Finance
  • you are strong in Finance/Accounting/Insurance or Audit area
  • you can coach and mentor other colleagues (peer coaching)
  • your leadership experience is an advantage (leading a project or a small team)
  • you enjoy people management and your future aspires towards leadership
  • you have strong analytical skills to resolve complex queries
  • your English is excellent (written and spoken)
  • you have a commercial mindset and understanding of business partners' needs.
  • You challenge the status quo and strive for efficient solutions to meet business partners needs



Minimum base salary for this job is from 1500 EUR gross/month/full time. Our offer to you may be higher based on your skills and experience and will include additional rewards and benefits.  We are required by law to disclose basic wage component (minimum salary) for the advertised positions. We carefully consider your professional competencies, qualifications and experience in our compensation package and/or when offering you other positions.
