Senior Financial Quality Controller Team lead - (Hybrid, m/f/x/d)

About the Role
You would be working closely with everyone on your team. This includes joining forces with other functions and departments like underwriting, actuaries, regional finance, and operation teams. In addition, you’ll help the Finance Global team to control and change the data relevant for financial closing. You will create a cross-functional network to streamline, harmonize and continuously improve our processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure complete and correct technical income
- Provide support and guidance for efficient budgeting and disclosure through assigned system entries
- Find opportunities to improve productivity and simplify data validation and processes
- Perform financial analytics and substantiation for the region, provide comprehensive and important business insight to the relevant stakeholders
- Undertake specific financial projects and ad hoc activities as required by the business.
- Find opportunities for improvements, take personal leadership to make a proposal and initiate implementation.
- Establish strong working relationship with our key business partners and become a strong team member and point of contact.

We’re a global team of 12 people working on stimulating various tasks. While our workspace is dynamic and fast-paced, we maintain a warm, inviting environment cooperating with teams globally. Together, we all hold expertise in controlling activities of underwriting, actuarial and accounting portfolio.

- Be accountable for the team's solution delivery; contribute to the team's content work using your expertise, including high-quality reviews

Essentials:
- University graduate with a primary or higher degree (or equivalent), preferably in finance/accounting/economics
- You are willing to learn new concepts and grow own area of responsibility
- You have strong analytical, report writing and time management skills
- Experience and a high level of motivation as a leader for an international team with the ability to work in a hybrid setting
- Passion, drive, and a belief in the value of building impactful controlling processes
- Experience in leading teams in complex and dynamic environments, driving continuous improvement and self-organization
- A high level of integrity, result-oriented approach, customer centrism and composure under pressure
- Good communication skills in English
- Belief in continuous innovation, curiosity, and relentless search for a better way every day
- Understanding that it takes a diverse set of skills and individuals to form a highly effective team
- Actively contribute to the development of our overall strategy as an active member of the leadership group

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between 1900 EUR to 3300 EUR.per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
