About the Role

 

Are you willing to work in a senior team of IT Service managers and enhance your skills in Agile? Do you want to work with cutting edge technologies in a wide range of IT areas? We're looking for leaders who could make the difference and help us achieve our challenging objectives.
In this role, you will participate in the following activities:


-    Vendor & stakeholder management, consolidation and optimization of contracts, active engagement in order to improve the quality and cost of the services for which you're responsible
-    Responsible for leading and coordination of internal projects in Agile environment, RFP initiation, consolidation projects
-    SLA management, governance control, reporting, process optimization
-    You will keep our finances in order and oversee budgetary planning
-    You will collaborate with a variety of vendors such as hardware, network services or application development providers

 

About the Team

 

Our Provider Management Chapter consists mainly of senior IT Service Managers and Product Owners who are responsible for around 70 Vendors and are doing their best to provide high quality services, with great lead times and for reasonable costs. We're a 10-12 people team working in 3 different locations (Slovakia, Switzerland and US) and belong to the organization of Group Technology Services (GTS) where we provide IT services across the Swiss Re group in all of its locations.

 

About you


If you meet the following criteria, we are happy to meet you:


-    Experienced Project/Vendor/Delivery manager (min. 5 years of experience)
-    Managing experience with vendors providing IT services ranging from hardware, network services or application development
-    Agile OR ITIL/PMI/Prince2 or any similar certification is a must
-    A pragmatic, responsible and dedicated person
-    Great communication, presentation and negotiation skills
-    A team player with the ability to take initiative and responsibility for a project
-    Ability to communicate effectively with senior management
-    Can cope with leading initiatives remotely and still find some time for a joke or two 😊

 

Minimum base salary for this job from 2700 EUR gross/month/full time. Our offer to you may be higher based on your skills and experience and will include additional rewards and benefits.
