About the Role

Seize the opportunity. We are looking for a team leader to join our Business Coordination department and take over a lead of one of the teams in Life & Health section. Even if you are new to the Insurance/Reinsurance sector, we are ready to help you on board.


Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Ensure high quality and timely business support the team provides to the client facing staff - Client Managers and other stakeholders
  • Enhance stakeholders management
  • Ensure effective resource allocation
  • Analyze and improve the performance of the team/individuals according to the metrics
  • Motivate, coach and develop the team members in accordance with the set of goals and objectives determined by the business coordination department
  • Recognize and acknowledge the skills of team members, help them understand their growth areas and build on their strengths
  • Improve the team collaboration within Business Services (in Bratislava and in locations) and with other functions within Bratislava


The position is open as maternity cover contract with possibility of contract prolongment.


About the Team

We are a dynamic, multinational and highly engaged team of 20 Business Coordinators with multilingual skills, directly working with and supporting the client facing staff in EMEA. Although formally divided into two smaller teams based on the markets, we act as one, we strive to expand our reinsurance knowledge, develop professionally and provide excellent service to our stakeholders. You will assume the responsibility for leading a team of 9-11 people who support diverse markets across EMEA as well as for personal growth, achievement of goals and together with your peers – other team leaders, you will be actively driving and shaping the direction of our department.


About You

  • Prior leadership experience is preferred, not a must
  • Strong communication skills and leadership skills: ability to inspire, motivate, develop and lead a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to build and foster an inspiring team environment with open communication and feedback culture
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working internally across departments, as well as with clients
  • Decision-making skills & ability to manage issues and conflicts
  • Strong customer focus, service orientation
  • Language skills: very good command of English, any other European language is of advantage


Minimum base salary for this job from 1700 gross/month/full time. Our offer to you may be higher based on your skills and experience and will include additional rewards and benefits.*
