About the Role




• Test Engineers are the drivers of the quality culture within the development team throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• They help team accelerate software delivery with utmost quality by asking questions right from the requirement to the delivery stage.
• They understand the importance of automation and automate wherever necessary, taking value based approach to automation.
• Educate development teams "to do it right" and doing it themselves. Identify and implement opportunities for company-wide improvements in the area of test automation.
• Bridge the gap between business stakeholders and the development team. Keeps up to date with the latest in testing, from techniques to tools.


About the Team


iptiQ is established to deliver white-label life insurance solutions to be sold through partners, directly to consumers. iptiQ is young, motivated and technology driven team, organised to provide creative solutions for life insurance distributors across Europe that engage with consumers in non-traditional ways. Through our strong operational infrastructure, creative thinking, insurance know-how and ecommerce competences we want to drive the digitalization of the life insurance business in Europe.


About You



• Understanding of Functional Testing, API testing, UI testing, E2E testing. Database testing and Performance Testing skill is nice to have.
• Has experience working with at least one of the UI automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Nightwatch, Protractor, API automation tools/framework Postman, Rest assured etc
• Has good understanding of OOP Concept and has command over at least one language (Java, Javascript, Python)
• Has experience working in Agile, DevOps environments.
• Has experience implementing automation framework, BDD, TDD
• Has experience working with various build tools (Maven, Gradle, npm, yarn)
• Has experience setting up CI/CD pipelines from code (Gitlab, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, CircleCI, ArgoCD etc.)

• You are the quality champion and drive quality dialogue throughout the process.
• Not afraid to speak up, highly collaborative.

The minimum gross monthly base salary for this role is 2500 EUR full time. Our final offer to you will be set up fairly, considering the skills and experience that you bring to the Swiss Re Group. You can look forward to extra rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
