About iptiQ EMEA P&C

iptiQ EMEA Property & Casualty is a newly built unit within Swiss Re Life Capital, established to deliver digital-native and creative solutions for Property & Casualty (P&C) clients and partners across Europe that engage with consumers in non-traditional ways.

The Statutory and Regulatory Reporting Team of iptiQ EMEA P&C is responsible for the financial management and reporting of the non-life insurance carrier based in Luxembourg and its direct holding company according to Luxembourg GAAP, local GAAP's and Solvency II.

About the role

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Financial Reporting Specialist in Bratislava. • Manage the coordination process with Swiss Re Group and Business Functions and partners to ensure effective financial management.
  • Establish efficient reporting processes to reduce operational risk.
  • Ensure financial analysis to your business partners for those valuations in the scope of your role.

About the team

We put the consumers' needs at the centre of what we do, aim to become a digital champion and believe in data based learning. We use the Swiss Re network to access state of the art technologies and capabilities, combine it with local expertise and an innovative mind-set, constantly questioning current ways of offering insurance. Our aim is to drive the digitalisation of the P&C insurance business in Europe, combining insurance know-how and e-commerce competencies, as well as the dynamic spirit of a start-up with the backing of Swiss Re.

About you

  • A motivated self-starter who is able to execute tasks with a strong level of independence
  • Creative, forward-thinking and have a willingness to challenge the status-quo
  • Five or more years of work experience in the financial services industry (insurance business desirable)
  • University degree in Economics, Science or Business Administration
  • Qualification in Accounting and/or Audit is desirable
  • Strong knowledge regarding Lux GAAP accounting policies and Luxembourg regulatory framework
  • Experience in Solvency II is desirable
  • Experience in IFRS and other European local GAAP standards desirable
  • Project management capabilities and experience coupled with good communication skills
  • Excellent command of the English language; French is an asset
