About the Team


The Data & Smart Analytics team has a mission to prototype, deliver and operate analytics solutions and platforms serving partners across the Asset Management value chain. Within our Product Area, the Traditional Data Engineering squad is looking for passionate and driven individuals who wish to apply robust data engineering techniques and build in the public cloud the future of our analytics backbone, that is integral in our investment process.

About The Role


You will focus on developing and supporting the Asset Management data warehouse operation that is the backbone of AM's analytics & reporting. We also have an important goal to re-engineer the DWH into the public cloud, to which you will contribute as well!


In Particular, The Role Will Involve

  • Development and operation of Asset Management DWH.

  • Analyse the needs of our business teams and design solutions to improve the business processes and operational procedures.

  • Full development lifecycle activities: development, deployment, maintenance of various environments or fixing defects, with a flair for constant improvement and DevOps

  • Involvement in the full delivery cycle, with an initial focus on unit, regression, and UAT testing.

  • Ensure smooth operation, provide 3rd level support of the AM DWH.

  • Creation of accurate and relevant documentation.

  • Support AM's project of migrating our DWH to the public cloud.


About You


  • 3+ years of working experience in data warehouse development

  • Practical work experience in financial markets and products

  • Proficient with RDMS database such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL

  • Knowledge of data engineering including skills with SQL, Docker Kubernetes, Kafka, or Spark preferred

  • Ability to quickly learn, understand and work with new and emerging technologies in the data & analytics space, as well as development methodologies

  • Knowledge of public cloud, Azure preferred

  • Knowledge of performance tuning using explain plan, indexing and hints.

  • Building and executing test plans and performing gap analysis to ensure that business requirements and functional specifications are tested and fulfilled

  • Understanding of data modelling concepts

  • Experience within an Agile/Scrum development methodology

  • Strong communication and good command of English (both verbal and written),

  • Flexible and open to new insights


Minimum base salary for this job is from 2 300 EUR gross/month/full time. Our offer to you may be higher based on your skills and experience and will include additional rewards and benefits. We are required by law to disclose basic wage component (minimum salary) for the advertised positions.
